| Minutes of Meeting | Vocational Excellence Award 02-12-2024 On 2nd December 2024, our club has awarded Vocational Excellence Award to two successful entrepreneurs, Shri Rahul Kulkarni and Shri Santosh Ostwal. Rahul Kulkarni is co-founder of Ghe Bharari Exhibitions providing online and offline platform to budding entrepreneurs to guide them on branding their products. Currently, the Facebook group of Ghe Bharari has over 1.5 lakh members. Advertising on this portal is free. Rahul Kulkarni conceptualized this idea based on his own experience of the travails of establishing a successful business. He plans to extend his activities to other cities. Shri Santosh Ostwal is truly a green and social entrepreneur. Considering the difficulty faced by farmers in irrigating the fields during the night time, he has devised a mobile app for remote operation of agricultural pumps. Called “Nano Ganesh”, this unit is manufactured by his company Ossian Agro Automation Pvt. Ltd. (OAAPL) and has installations all over India. Ossian has made a bench mark in the wireless automation sector in industries as well as agriculture sector. A range of various remote controllers for the water pumpsets has created a revolution in the irrigation industry. Shri Ostwal has a dream of making gadgets for affordable health care. The Award citations were brilliantly penned by Rtn. Manjiri Dhamankar and were read out by PP Sham Arjunwadkar and PP Chandrasekhar Yardi.
