| Minutes of Meeting | Minutes of the Seventh meeting of Board of Directors, Chairpersons, invitees. Date: Thursday, 9th January, 2025, 7.30 pm at PYC A2 Hall (Hosted BOD) Following business was transacted in the meeting. 1. President Bharati Dole welcomed all the attendees. President briefed & appreciated all the completed projects. 2. We may need to look at outside venue for Sanyukta Dani Spardha next year given the seating shortage faced this year. Or we may have to restrict accompanying guests to 2 per participant. 3. Minutes of Sixth BOD were proposed for approval & approved by BOD. 4. Treasurer: Rtn Ashok Gadgil Members have started paying second half dues 5. Club Trainer: Rtn Ujwal Marathe Points raised during AG visit need to be addressed & we should be able to answer queries in case DG asks. 6. Strategic Planning: Meeting of Strategic planning committee was held. Membership development was discussed as major point. Report has been sent to committee. 7. Director Club Admin: Rtn Rujuta Desai Attendance is in the range of 40% to 45% in spite of calling members by Monthly support groups. Fellowship is going well Rtn Sharad Dole proposed to publish booklet of Rotary Information. Approved by BOD. 8. Sanyukta Dani Competition: Ann Shilpa Naik This year’s competition got very good response. Prize distribution was very well organised by Sanyukta Dani Awards team which was appreciated. 9. Director Membership: Rtn Sandeep Tapaswi BOD approved opening of new classification – IT Product Development BOD approved following classification for 2 new members who will be inducted during DG visit. Mr. Prasanna Kelkar – IT Product Development Ms. Ratna Mabrukar – Cloth Retailing Induction of these 2 members was already approved by BOD on WhatsApp. Same was ratified by BOD. 10. Director Foundation: Rtn Nitin Naik BOD appreciated donation of Rs. 20000 towards Polio fund. November was foundation month. President appealed to members to try Polio donation from non-Rotarians. Global grant for Apanga Kalyan Sanstha is at second authorisation stage. Funding is on track. BOD appreciated work done by PP Nitin Abhyankar & Rtn Nitin Naik for the same. 11. Director Community Service Medical: Rtn Shobha Rao Cherry Blossom project was done on 2,3,4 th December at Muktangan school. 950 students have been covered against target of 1000. Second round follow-up has started PP Shobha Rao gave interesting insights on improvement in health of students due to this project. BOD appreciated the same. 64 baby bags will be given. Budget has already been approved. 12. Director Community Service Non-Medical: Rtn Vrinda Walimbe Lecture series titled ‘Mind you’ for mental health of students is being planned in the month of January. 13. Director Vocational Service: Rtn Aniruddha Inamdar Late D B Deodhar award will be held on 27th Jan. This year’s awardee is Dhiraj Dhere. 14. Youth: Rtn Alka Kamble Lectures for Rotaractors on Mental Health & Career Counselling are being planned. 15. Peace: Rtn Pradeep Wagh President informed that Peace award is planned on in February. Nominations are invited. 16. IT: Rtn Sanjeev Chaudhary Projects are uploaded on Rotary Showcase 9 members yet to download District 3131 app. Follow-up is on. PP Sharad Dole appealed to like/subscribe District 3131 FB, YouTube & Insta pages. 17. Literacy: Rtn Anjali Ravetkar Library project done on 6th February. Donation of backboards & computers is in pipeline 18. Synergy: Rtn Shirish Kshirsagar Sahitya Sammelan was well attended & well executed. Zapoorza visit is being planned. 19. Chief Trustee: Rtn Guru Palekar Avenue wise budget July to December has been shared. 20. Preparation for DG visit was reviewed by President. 21. Meeting ended with Rtn Alka Kamble proposing vote of thanks for the hosts for the evening, Rtn Rujuta Desai ,Rtn Vrinda Walimbe, Ann Anjali Gadgil, Rtn Ashok Gadgil , Rtn Ujjwal Marathe ,Spouse Ashok Kamble ,Rtn Gurunath Palekar, Rtn Sandeep Tapaswi Regards, Sachin Joglekar Secretary |
