Plastic is being used in every walk of life for last more than 50 years in increasing volumes.However this useful plastic with its non generating properties has now become a major environmental hazard.Dr MRS Tadpatrikar M.D.of Rudra Environment described the value chain of collection of plastic wastes from individual households and converting into fuel by a chemical process. She effectively demonstrated the message of working together on a local level for effective collection of plastic waste for further processing.A film was exhibited to describe the conversion of 'waste to fuel'.
