Our club chose ZP Primary School , Nanded at Nanded phata for our Happy School project. The school has been recommended by PP Shirish Kshirsagar. On 22nd August , our club donated library books worth Rs 5,000 & a science kit worth Rs 12,000 . This science kit consists of 50 items which will be very useful for the children to learn basic concepts . As it's a Primary school , we gave them small , interesting books on various topics & also lots of story books. We are hoping to develop good reading habits amongst the children. In today's age of mobiles it has become even more important to cultivate reading habits at an early age . The school had organised a nice program. They felicitated all the Rotary members by giving paper bags made by the children. President Anjali spoke to the children & motivated them to read the books & use the science kit . PP Dr Satish Ravetkar & IPP Rujuta Desai explained to the students how they can learn science through simple experiments using the science kit .
