Under its Rotary Focus Area of PEACE, the RI District 3131 ,International Service Avenue organised an ALL RELIGION PEACE WALK . More than our expectation, some 50 odd Rotarians from various clubs in RID3131 turned up for this. Totally some 59 people undertook the PEACE WALK. Interestingly two passersby who saw the Peace Walk and came to know of its theme,joined spontaneously and walked the 6.1 km 3 hour walk with Rotarians. *The walk imbued a sense of devotion to PEACE* within oneself as a starting point, extending into *PEACE in the community* through a PEACE VISIT to temples of worship of all Religions in Pune. The warmth with which all ROTARY Peace Ambassadors were received,whether in Hindu temple or Dargah or Gurudwara or Jain Temple ...was simply marvellous. It was PEACE giving to see a Muslim facilitate aarti in a Hindu shrine and Hindus offering prayers at a Dargah, from the group. *All boundaries dissolved ...we were all one humankind at Peace with ourselves.* On behalf of International Service Avenue, and specifically Events and Peace committee, Thanks to *VishwaMitra Yogesh Mathuria,RID3131 PEACE Awardee* of year 2019 for including us in his this unique concept of HARMONY PEACE WALK.
