Today PDG Deepak Shikarpur gave a very useful talk on Careers and Jobs 2022 to Modern College students. He mentioned that at present all the equations have changed because of COVID. Many industries have closed down, peoples spending habits and their priorities have changed. Learning hard skills, having excellent communication skills and about 3 to 6 months of internship is a must. With this nobody will be a complete fresher. One must develop those kind of skills which will help graduates to get jobs . After 2020 we are going to see a great transformation in industry. Sanitization industry has seen a 50 % rise in a very short while. Internet and Information technology will be the backbone of the future. Job creation in Healthcare, Pharma , Environment, Cyber security, Online selling, Telecom, e-learning, Hardware maintenance, Medical devices will be seen more and more. Education system will change. New education policy will come in place. Education will be on demand. Virtual education is the future. He urged the students to learn new skills & be ready for these career opportunities. Finally it is going to be survival of the fittest.
