EDARCH with Rotary Club of Pune Sarasbaug & Rotary Club of Pune Shivajinagar created a “Soft Skills and Personality Development Program” for Specially abled (Divyang) Children. Despite suitable educational background & knowledge the major hurdle these children face is of clearing interviews and starting business ventures. They lack self-confidence and desired soft skills required to succeed. We enlisted candidates from across Maharashtra and conducted an 8 week Soft Skills Development Program through experienced professionals & corporate trainers over Zoom meetings on weekends starting from 2nd January. 16 candidates successfully completed the program & were awarded the Certificates virtually, Mr. Samrat Phadnis, Editor Daily Sakal, today. We felicitated the six faculty & awarded Certificate of Appreciation to them. It was a pleasant surprise to see candidates who were unable to express themselves at the start, at the end of the program being able to share their thoughts about how useful they found the program in transforming themselves into confident individuals .
